I wanted to write a song for my parent's 50th anniversary but I cant write songs on demand. A few days later, as I was driving home from singing in Wichita, the song came to me. I stopped in the city park in McPherson, Ks and wrote the first verse. Years later a second verse appeared. Alice wrote the third for me when I was scheduled to sing in church on a morning the sermon was based on the 23rd Psalm
